Ardcalfe House
The brief for this project was to create a simile low profile vernacular form to replicate similar agricultural buildings adjacent to the site. The house is to have a consistent steel frame structure with simple openings taking advantage of the south facing site, which overlooks over 20 miles of rolling countryside.
The roof and walls are to be clad in corrugated metal cladding, again to blend in with vernacular aesthetic of the neighbouring farm buildings.
