Brief
To demolish the existing ground floor rear extension and construct a new extension to link the kitchen living and dining spaces, which was more in keeping with the original house. The second element of the development was to create a new first floor extension above the garage to include a new double bedroom with ensuite.
KJC Architects were appointed to survey the existing building, develop a design, submit a full planning application and provide a detailed specification for building control submission.
Substantial structural works was required to accommodate the new first floor extension which needed to be coordinated with the existing structure as well as the proposed mechanical and electrical services.
