Tim Murphy - Architectural Assistant
In 2020 Tim qualified with his Master’s in Architecture from the University of Liechtenstein. Having qualified from the University College Dublin in 2017, Tim then spent a year working in a fast paced residential practice working on a range of extensions and one-off housing projects. During his time in Liechtenstein and Brussels Tim worked part time with Waterman Consulting Engineers in Cork on large scale residential and commercial projects giving him a wide-reaching level of detail orientated design work across all sectors. Tim spent time during his masters taking part in design exhibitions in Austria and France dealing with new ways of mapping and future public spaces. Tim also took a semester to study in KU Leuven in Brussels, this cumulation of new experiences has developed a focus to design and create spaces which are socially and environmentally sustainable. Tim enjoys using traditional materials in new and different ways to create something which can offer new experiences. |
