Edolph Cottages
Edolph Cottages is a rural site where we have proposed the construction of two; 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom houses in place of disused stables.
The design has a simple, one-storey shape from the front to fit within the rural setting and match the existing equestrian stables. Meanwhile the rear has a striking façade with large glazing across the two floors and a view into the basement courtyard which brings light to the lower level.
On the ground floor is a large open plan kitchen / dining space with a large pantry, office and spacious living room with vaulted ceilings and large windows. The basement includes a large master suite, three other generous bedrooms and a family bathroom. The bedrooms look out onto the courtyard and to the countryside beyond.
