Lincoln Road
Lincoln Road is a proposal to create a modern 2-bedroom house with a bespoke form on a unique corner site.
In order to have as little an impact on the street scene as possible, we decided on a 1-storey house with a green roof to create an appealing design that would have a minimal impact on the surrounding residents. Although the house is compact is still allows for 2 generous bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a utility and a large open-plan kitchen/living/dining.
The use of a green roof was both an aesthetic choice and to help achieve a sustainable, green building with the aim of creating a net-zero dwelling.
