Some renders and images of a new eco-home that we have designed in Thatcham, Berkshire. The site is situated on a sloping plot, surrounded by trees, overlooking the River Enbourne with Berkshire countryside beyond. The building is broken into two forms with a bedroom area to the rear and a double-height living/kitchen zone with large south facing glazing to the front. The two forms have alternative tapered roofs which are clad in charred timber, divided with a glazed roof linking the spaces, which should look fantastic when built.
