Waterer Rise
Brief:
To demolish the existing garage and conservatory and create a full width rear extension and two storey side extension.
The side extension incorporates a large new garage, a WC, utility and boiler room at ground floor with two new bedrooms at first floor, one of them becoming the new master bedroom with ensuite and walk in wardrobe.
The proposed rear extension creates a large open plan, kitchen/living/dining space with large slimline bifolding doors to overlook the south facing garden.
The existing house has a unique aesthetic within the streetscape and in order to respect this unique appearance, the design proposes to mirror the existing pitched roof as well as replicating the fenestration to retain a similar feel. At the rear of property we have repeated the gable end design to create a more symmetrical elevation.
